  8. File Sharing

  10. 1. You cannot use the 'Scan Now' feature in Intercept to scan non-local drives.
  11. 2. Avoid turning File Sharing on DURING a Virus Clinic scan.
  12. 3. Some features in SAM such as 'Inoculate' and 'Deprotect' cannot be done over file sharing.
  13. 4. The 'Scan System Folder' feature only works from a local drive.

  18. 1. If you want SAM Virus Clinic to scan in the background, click on the desktop rather than the Virus Clinic Finder icon.

  20. 2. Using a Mac IIsi with 2 megs of RAM and Virtual Memory, SAM will not load.
  21.  
  22. 3. You may encounter problems with SAM Intercept's windows after scanning files with data forks that are too large to read in.  Such files include large Hypercard Stacks.  This problem can be resolved by exiting Intercept and entering again.
